Swanson Rink also provides deicing studies such as identifying viable waste disposal alternatives and evaluating cost-of-ownership, considering first costs, operating costs, and major repair replacement cost for life expectancy.  This could include considering the utilities required to run the system, parts replacements over lifespan, staff needed to operate and maintain the system, and escalations in various cost centers.
