Swanson Rink provides a full range of airport gate systems planning and design. Our detail design includes passenger boarding bridges and the closely related, aircraft docking, ground power and preconditioned air (PC Air) as well as other ramp level systems such as potable water and vehicle charging stations. Our planning support focuses on the actual aircraft ground service requirements, including operational requirements for ground service vehicles and the appropriate location for hydrant fueling pits, PC Air equipment, potable water cabinets, portable fire extinguishers, etc. Given our expertise in building systems and ramp services, we can confidently deliver a well-coordinated operational design that aligns with both code requirements and airport expectations.
